One client for REST, GraphQL, WebSocket, and gRPC.
Stop switching tools depending on which protocol a service happens to speak. Send REST and GraphQL requests, hold open a WebSocket connection, or call a gRPC service with reflection — all from the same workspace, the same variables, the same history.
Every protocol your APIs actually use.
Three things a single multi-protocol client replaces.
No more tool-switching
A REST endpoint, a GraphQL API, and a gRPC service can all be part of the same product — HTTP Titan sends all three from one workspace instead of forcing a separate app per protocol.
Real-time and request/response, side by side
Open a WebSocket connection to watch events stream in, then send an ordinary REST call in another tab to trigger one — both live in the same collection, sharing the same environment.
One set of variables and history everywhere
The same {{base_url}} and auth token resolve whether the request is REST, GraphQL, or a gRPC unary call — and every call, on every protocol, lands in the same searchable history.
API Client, answered.
The practical questions before you send your first request.
Do I need a different tab or window per protocol?
No — REST, GraphQL, WebSocket, and gRPC requests all live as tabs in the same workspace, sharing the same sidebar, environments, and history.
Does gRPC support need a .proto file uploaded ahead of time?
Not if the server exposes reflection — HTTP Titan discovers services and methods automatically. A manual .proto file is only needed as a fallback for servers that don't support reflection.
Can environment variables be used across every protocol?
Yes — the same {{variable}} syntax and collection/environment/local scopes resolve the same way whether the request is REST, GraphQL, WebSocket, or gRPC.
Is WebSocket support just for testing, or can I inspect real traffic?
Both — connect to a real WebSocket endpoint, send and receive frames, and watch the full message log for as long as the connection stays open.
